Also, there was a rec room to relax and play ping pong!

Close to the lifts - not quite walkable during pandemic times in ski boots but I could see doing it in regular boots and changing at the lodge. Parking is quirky - you have to back up the road to a turnaround, the map shows the road going through but the condo association has a gate up - no big deal, just quirky.

Even though right near the road we heard very little road noise. The room was lovely and the gas fireplace added a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean. Continental breakfast had a good selection. It is a short drive from Kings Beach and about 15mins from Tahoe City so is perfect if you are wanting to stay away from all the hype.

The Lake Front room was actually a small apartment with a decently equipped kitchen. Very clean and comfy and a nice atmosphere. It is literally 3 meters from the water. We were very happy that we chose to upgrade to the lake front, and will definitely be staying here again if we visit Lake Tahoe again. Peps place across the street makes great breakfast.
